How do I make money from live auctions and Ebay?

I have some time on my hands this summer and a few bucks. I started frequenting live auctions to see how things work. I have no history with antiques (other typical auction items) and knowing how to value them but I do enjoy learning about it. My goal is to find items that sell low at live auctions to resell at a higher value online. I'm using auctionzip.com to preview live auction items and compare them to what is actually selling on ebay and for how much. Any tips on how I can do what I'm doing any better? Thanks
